1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of DermaScanAI, including our app, website, AI skin analysis, chat, product analysis, progress tracking, subscriptions, ads, and notifications. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Service Description
DermaScanAI provides AI-assisted informational tools for skin-related observations, product label analysis, chat, progress tracking, reminders, history, and premium access. Results depend on user-provided content and may be affected by image quality, lighting, angle, inputs, and model limits.
3. Medical Disclaimer
DermaScanAI is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnosis tool, or substitute for a licensed clinician. AI outputs are for informational and wellness purposes only and must not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, medication, or emergency decisions. If a skin issue is new, changing, bleeding, painful, infected, or concerning, contact a qualified healthcare professional promptly.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for uploaded content, accurate information, account security, and lawful use. Upload only your own content or content you are allowed to use. Do not harm others, violate privacy, bypass limits, reverse engineer systems, or submit illegal content.
5. Photos, AI, and Consent
When you submit photos, text, chat messages, product images, or progress data, you authorize DermaScanAI and its providers to process that content to provide the requested features. AI outputs are probabilistic and may change as models, prompts, or features evolve.
6. Accounts, Subscriptions, and Ads
Some features require an account. Premium features, promotional offers, ad-free access, and subscriptions may be managed through RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, or other supported providers. Billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and store rules are generally handled by the purchase platform. Free users may see ads or limits.
7. Intellectual Property and Changes
DermaScanAI, its software, designs, trademarks, prompts, feature flows, and service content are owned by us or our licensors. You keep ownership of your content but grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service. We may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Liability and Contact
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DermaScanAI is provided as is and without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, medical, or health-related decisions made based on the service. For questions, contact support@dermascanai.com.
9. Account Suspension and Deletion
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion through the app or support channels. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that an account violates these Terms, creates risk for other users, abuses limits, interferes with the service, or violates law. Account deletion is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Services
The service relies on third-party providers for AI processing, cloud storage, notifications, authentication, subscriptions, app-store purchases, advertising, image search for editorial content, and email delivery. These providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, app stores, payment providers, websites, or services that we do not control.
11. No Professional Relationship
Using DermaScanAI does not create a doctor-patient, clinician-patient, pharmacist-patient, or other professional healthcare relationship. You are responsible for deciding whether to seek professional care. Never ignore or delay professional medical advice because of information shown in the app.
12. Changes, Governing Terms, and Contact
We may update these Terms when the service, law, pricing, subscriptions, AI models, integrations, or business requirements change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
